OKay, Google has officially announced it, Google Wave is going to die by the end of this year!
Google Wave was a product that Google set high expectations in users’ minds. And that very over expectings showed Google Wave it’s way to grave. Even I wrote a blog post called “Google Wave වලට කලින්ම එකතු වෙමු ?” – in Sinhala – inviting my readers to join Google Wave early. Google has been the most innovative company out there in the web-sphere for a quite long time. But ts true that even Google may have some things to learn from others, but, when doing so, Google has been very reasonable until now. This time Google has made a step that – at least for me – looks very unagreeable, which is giving users the option to choose background images in Google Search main page!!! More… »

Google සමාගමෙන් හඳුන්වලා දීපු නවතම සේවාව තමයි Google Buzz. ශ්රී ලංකා වේලාවෙන් අද (10) අලුයම පටන් සේවාව දියත් කෙරුනා. පියවරෙන් පියවර තමන්ගේ සියළුම පරිශීලකයන් වෙත මෙම සේවාව සක්රීය කිරීමට Google සමාගම බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා.
Google සමාගමෙන් මීට කලින් හඳුන්වලා දුන් Google Wave සේවාව තරම්ම Google Buzz වෙත දියත් කිරීමට ප්රථම ප්රචාරයක් හිමි නොවුනත්, දැනටම ලොව වටා Google පරිහීලකයින් මේ සේවාව තමන් වෙත සක්රීය වන තුරු ඇඟිලි ගනිමින් සිටින බව Mashable වැනි social media අඩවි වෙත ලැබෙන පාඨක ප්රතිචාර වලින් පැහැදිළි වෙනවා.

මේ දවස්වල එක දිගටම සෙවුම් යන්ත්ර වල වෙනස් කම් කීපයක් සිදුවුනා. බිල් අයියා එයාගෙ දහ පහළොස් පාරක් නම වෙනස් කරපු කසිකබල් සර්ච් කරත්තේ (එන්ජිම නොවේ!) නම තව පාරක් වෙනස් කළා. Yahoo! ත් පෙනුම වෙනස් කළා. Facebook එකේ සෙවුමට දැන් මුළු වෙබයම හොයන්න පුළුවන් (හැබැයි අර බිල් අයියගෙ සර්ච් කරත්තේ පිහිටෙං!). ඔන්න ඔය වගේ එක එක වෙනස් කම්. More… »
