[How To] Use your Google OpenID through your website
You can use your Google Account as your OpenID. There are websites that allows you to directly login using your Google Account, or you can use your Google Profile address as your OpenID address (You can find your Google Profile address by visiting http://www.google.com/profiles (You need to have your Google Profile set-up before using that.).). But, would you like to use your own website address as your OpenID address and still use your Google Account as your OpenID? Here is how:
“OpenID” is a service that allows people to login to various web sites, without providing email address and password each time. When the user pointed a website to his OpenID, that site can grab the required – and allowed – information from the users’s OpenID. Therefore, OpenID can be identified as a “Online Identity Card” of a person or a particular personality (One can have several personalities online, thus several OpenIDs).
